"I recently purchased and had installed the Oasys Hybrid Air Conditioning system
on my home. I had been looking for an alternative to the Swamp cooler that had
been on my 2000 sq. ft. home since I purchased it seven years ago. During the
hot summers here in the northern California valley Swamp coolers are only
effective to a certain temperature and even then the humidity in the home is quite
prevalent. For the past few years I have been looking for an alternative to the
Swamp cooler to be more effective in these particular areas of concern. I became
aware of the Oasys system through a friend at work and did some research. The
more I researched the more I became very interested in having the system installed
on my home. A couple of huge factors in this decision for me were that the
system was thermostat controlled and energy savings (more so than a regular air
conditioner) at the same time. Another factor was that the system produced much
less humidity in the home and was effective in some of the most extreme heat
conditions experienced in our area. I made contact with Lee Miller of GreenPro
Distributing in Chico, Ca., in the second week of May, 2009, and within a week
Lee had the unit delivered to my home and had made arrangements for installation.
On May 24th the unit was installed and began operating that evening. The ensuing
week would prove to be one of the hottest of the early summer with temperatures
in the high 90’s and at times over 100 degrees. I was extremely elated to find that
the Oasys lived up to everything that I had researched and had been told in terms
of cooling the home and doing its own thing via the thermostat. I simply set the
temperature to the desired coolness and left the system to operate at will. It was
also pleasing to note the air quality within the home that was much different from
the Swamp cooler. This cooling system provides a very pleasing environment
with less humidity and a clean crisp feeling. I can’t say enough about the entire
process from initial contact with Lee and company through installation, and finally
the end result of a cool and clean environment. The attention to detail and overall
response and concern by Lee Miller to ensure a fast and precise installation, then
follow-up, was something rarely experienced today. I now look forward to the
heat of the summer rather than dreading the warm damp humid air coating the
inside of my home. I also look forward to my energy bills this summer.
